Clair De Lune
The Chosen team have once again produced a collection and campaign that perfectly displays their vision for modern bridal. Shot amongst rolling salt flats, Clair De Lune came to life as the sun was setting and the moon came out to create a moody glow perfectly complimentary to the collection.
Directly translated from French, the collection name means light of the moon or moonlight and is the title of acclaimed poem by Paul Verlaine. In the poem, the writer takes the readers through a journey whereby he explores his soul in hopes of finding himself under the moonlight.
Born out of a global outpouring of requests to see Chosen by KYHA explore lace, this collection is an is an ode to the edgy, fashion forward bride who moonlights as a hopeless romantic. Much like the poem, Chosens campaign explores self expression under the moonlight with the campaign imagery featuring classic lace in modern designs paired with unexpected elements such as playful glasses, a teddy coat and oversized pearl earrings. These touches are certainly not typical of bridal but perfectly reflect KYHA s vision of soulfully unexpected fashion and forward thinking.
The collection is comprised of six pieces, all made of buttery soft lace in hues of cream and blush. Lovingly made to mold to ones shape, these pieces create a supportive capsule of elegance and wearability. Tried and tested, before launching the collection was worn by brides, influencers and seamstresses and the feedback has been resounding excitement for the collections striking etherealism, reasonable price point and wearable ease.
