Frequently asked questions

Established in 2011, KYHA (nee One Day) evolved from Founder & Creative Director Kyha Scott's personal experience as a bride. Tired of tulle and ball gowns, Kyha's vision was to create collections that pushed the boundaries of bridal design and embodied her own modern aesthetic: sleek minimalism, innovatory detailing and flawless execution.

In 2016, the ambition to take the spirit and boldness of KYHA to more women around the world resulted in the launch of KYHA's much sought-after ready to wear label, KYHA Bride. The KYHA Bride range includes modern made to size and ready to wear wedding dresses and separates that embody the essence of KYHA.

KYHA has 3 flagship studios globally, located in Melbourne, Sydney and New York. You can find more information on each store HERE.

Alternatively, we have over 80+ global retail partners that stock a range of our KYHA gowns. You can find your closest store under our Retailer's page HERE.

Online phone calls are complimentary and do not incur any charges.

Our outlet gowns are available exclusively online and are not present in any of our studios or retailers globally.

That being said, we help our brides purchase with confidence every day online and would be more than happy to do the same for you.

Please email enquiries@kyhastudios.com for further information about our outlet pieces.

Before purchasing, we recommend carefully taking your measurements and referring to our size guide located on each of our product pages.

You can reach out to an online stylist for assistance with this at enquiries@kyhastudios.com.

Watch our 'Measuring yourself at home' video HERE

We recommend measuring yourself with a soft measuring tape in centimetres.

For your bust:

Wrap the measuring tape around your chest lining the tape up so that it meets across your nipples or the centre of your breast.

For your waist:

Wrap the measuring tape around the smallest part of your waist, typically around your lowest rib.

For your hips:

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips, typically at the top of the buttocks.

See video here for further instructions. Still unsure of your measurements? Speak to an online bridal stylist an email enquiries@kyhastudios.com

At KYHA Studios, your gown is expertly crafted to your closest preferred size.

Once the gown is completed, you may want to have it altered to your individual preference, which we recommend.

Our made-to-order KYHA bridal gowns take approximately 6–9 months to create, depending on the style selected. We also recommend allowing an additional 1–3 months for alterations where possible.

If your wedding or event is sooner, we may be able to accommodate a rush order. Please contact our Customer Care team at enquiries@kyhastudios.com to discuss your timeline with one of our expert stylists.

Email our online stylists at enquiries@kyhastudios.com for quick assistance and multiple options based on your timeline

If a gown or product is marked Ready to Ship, it means we have your selected size available and ready for purchase.

Please allow 5–9 business days for your gown to undergo our final quality assessment before dispatch. Delivery will then take approximately 4–10 business days with our preferred shipping partner.

Need your gown sooner but don't see your size available? Contact our Customer Care team at enquiries@kyhastudios.com to discuss what options may be available.

Online Orders

Payment Options Online orders must be paid in full using credit card.

Before your wedding

Your gown will be steamed before it leaves us, however it may require a light steam before your wedding day after travelling and being stored. We recommend storing your gown in its garment bag in a cool, clean and dry environment. If you choose to hang your gown, always use the internal hanger loops rather than the shoulder straps to help maintain its shape.

After your wedding

We recommend having your gown professionally dry cleaned as soon as possible by a specialist wedding gown cleaner. Once cleaned, wrap your gown in acid-free tissue paper and store it in a preservation box, or in its garment bag if a preservation box is not available. Keep your gown in a cool, clean and dry environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture, to help preserve it for years to come.
