OUR WEDDING LOCATION We got married at Luminare in South Melbourne. Wed been to a lot of Melbourne weddings, but never here. The second we walked down the lane way to the elevator we knew it was going to be perfect for us.

STYLE CONCEPT.. With the Melbourne skyline as the backdrop it was a real city wedding, we had industrial touches like hanging light bulbs, but lots of colour and softness in the floral which gave it a romantic feel.

INSPIRATION.. The Lane and TheyAllHateUs. The Lane gave overall wedding inspiration and TheyAllHateUs often post beautiful gowns and laces, which also inspired me. And of course KYHA !

THE BEST ADVICE I WAS GIVEN.. Grab your husband on your wedding night, even if just for 5 mins and take it all in.

WHAT WAS YOUR NON NEGOTIABLE FOR THE DAY? We had to have a great photographer. After the day is done these help form the memories that youre left with so its really something we wanted to invest in.

HENS DAY.. One of my best friends Sarah and I were married four weeks apart. We had a joint hens we went to Port Phillip Estate in Red Hill for lunch and then the party continued in the city. It was such a great day and night.

DRESS & VEIL: I knew I wanted Kyha to make my dress before I even met her. All the pictures Id seen of her gowns were amazing and I could tell from KYHA s Instagram/Tumblr that she would completely understand what I wanted in a wedding gown and make it absolutely perfect.

SHOES: Saint Laurent. I always wanted the Jane sandal in black. Im not a fan of most wedding shoes but when I saw this shoe in white I knew it was perfect for me.

BRIDESMAID DRESSES: I had three bridesmaids. All are different shapes and sizes so they all had a different outfit from Willow.

FLOWERS:The Fresh Flowerman. I wanted lots of colour peach, pink, magenta, yellow. And I love peonies and roses. These guys were amazing and created an ombre of colour along the three long wooden tables. It looked amazing.

CAKE:Cherrytree Bakehouse. We had a naked cake with a light frosting. It was raspberry and white chocolate it not only looked amazing, it tasted amazing!

BAND & DJ: For the ceremony we had a string quarter playing modern music. At the reception we had a DJ.

GIFT REGISTORY: We usedWedding List Coand had a contribution registry. We have lived together for a while and had everything for our home but wanted to be able to renovate our home. Now all our friends and family can help us do that.
