YOUR LOVE STORY

I was 19 working in a bar. Rhys walked in one night and like a movie, he had my attention. We were friends for nearly 18 months and during that time we would catch up for coffee or go to dinner but it wasnt until I went on holidays and didnt see him all the time that I realised I really, really liked him. Weve been together for nearly 10yrs now and during that time we built our first house, started our own businesses and built a life we are really proud of and enjoy doing together. Not until last year did we feel we were ready to get married. Now Im even more obsessed with him.

A destination wedding meant we got to spend more than one day with our family and friends. We couldnt have imagined it being all over in one day.

A HIGHLIGHT

For me, it was seeing Rhys for the first time at the ceremony. We chose the fabric for his custom look together but agreed I would have to wait until the day to see it. As a stylist that nearly killed me but Im so glad I did because when I saw him standing at the end of the aisle, handsome as ever, it added to the feeling of I get to marry you, I get to marry my best friend and I fell even more in love with him. For Rhys, it was the song played as I walked down the aisle. We decided on Alicia Keys If I aint got you but one day he played an acoustic cover of Billie Eilish Ocean Eyes and I thought to myself, thats it, thats the song. Rhys has the most stormy blue eyes and to me, that song was perfect.

HONEYMOONING

Italy next year because in classic Rhys and Kate style we have other projects that need our attention before we take off for a month.
