YOUR LOVE STORY

Pablo and I met 7 years ago in Boca Raton, FL at a youth group. He became one of my best friends throughout the years and we became closer as time went by. I was always his right hand as he was the youth pastor and part of what we did was hangout to plan out for camps, friday nights, etc. We always worked really well together and when quarantine started we shared our passion to run together and those runs rapidly became long conversations where we got to know each other on a deeper level. That's how we realize we were made for each other and ever since our love has only grown and become stronger.

FINDING YOUR DRESS

Finding my wedding dress was one of the most amazing things due that I knew exactly what I wanted. A couple years ago I saw the wedding dress of my dreams on Pinterest. I remember seeing and associating it with my mom's wedding dress and dreaming of one day walking down the aisle with this stunning gown. The hunt for the dress started in my local dress shops in Miami but unfortunately I couldn't find that one dress I had seen... through my search on social media I stumbled upon Kyha studios on instagram and saw the stunning gown I had seen in Pinterest years ago. I didn't hesitate for a second to reach out and express my love for the Monte dress. The shipping process and fitting was so easy and amazing! I wouldn't have wanted any other way. Kyha made my bride's dreams come true.

THE LOCATION

I always wanted to get married in my home country, Colombia. We have a city on the coast named Cartagena where I always wanted to get married. However, due to the limitations on travel we couldn't do it there. One day I decided to google "Venues in Miami that look like Cartagena" and I stumbled upon my dream venue. WIthin seconds of finding The Ancient Spanish Monastery I called to see it the next day. As soon as I went inside I knew that was it! I booked it without a doubt. That was the place I wanted to say "I do".

INSPIRATION & AESTHETIC

Flowers and the styling notes. For the flowers and decor I wanted something intimate and timeless. I was inspired by the touches of the ancient venue and used the elements of the arch in the ceremony in the tables.

THE NON-NEGOTIABLES

the music and the fun were non-negotiables for us. We had a live orchestra and DJ throughout the night and nobody left the dance floor.

A highlight Everything! It was the wedding of my dreams and all the details were the highlight of my night.

HONEYMOONING

Honeymoon is the time you will never have again, it is a very special season where everything is transitioning.

A WORD OF ADVICE

Don't stress it, this time of planning is to enjoy and to learn. Your day is gonna be perfect no matter what and worrying is not gonna make anything better. Enjoy this eason because you only live it once!
