Project Renew is a new sustainability initiative for KYHA Studios, developed in recognition of the ongoing impact fashion has on the environment and the efforts required to minimize our environmental footprint.

KYHA Studios handcrafts timeless pieces designed as heirlooms for future generations to rewear, reappropriate or treasure. Currently, the business minimizes energy consumption and waste through undertaking small production runs or offering a made to order service.

Project Renew is designed to extend our efforts beyond production scale to further reduce our environmental impact, with a focus on progress not perfection.

The Project Renew initiative is built on three key pillars: minimizing waste, transitioning to lower environmental impact materials and developing new packaging.

The Renew collection, available here, is one several actions KYHA Studios is undertaking to minimse waste.

Renew offers the eco or budget-conscious the opportunity to shop nearly perfect KYHA Studios pieces that have only minor flaws, in doing so saving carbon energy, saving water and reducing the energy needed for transportation.
