Thank god for Tinder, because we both swiped right and quickly met on the beach for our first date! From then on we just clicked, and it was all so easy.

Early on, when I visited my brother Steve in Dubai he noticed how much we were speaking with one another and said I think you might like this guy and I think he is the one. As soon as I returned, Sam took me on a trip home to Warrnambool to meet the family and I knew the feelings were reciprocated when he introduced me to his Mum as his girlfriend. I then knew that was a really big deal. We then moved to Torquay and bought our first home, a dog and have loved every minute of it since!

We then got engaged when I returned from a work trip to Uganda. I flew in from Uganda at 1am on a Sunday morning and that morning Sam had set up a picnic in our backyard and proposed. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder! We have always wanted a baby at our wedding so knew that was our next step and had our beautiful daughter, Noa and it brought us a whole new level of happiness! We were lucky to decide to have a child before getting married because COVID hit and the best laid plans were ruined. We had always wanted an extremely small wedding of just 34 guests of our closest family and friends. We decided on this after I interviewed a few brides on @theyouandmepodcast who eloped or had micro weddings. We decided that it was also the best thing for us too! We are glad we decided to do it that way because by Jan 2022 there were still uncertainties with COVID. We ended up having the BEST wedding full of so much emotion and it was so nice to be able to relax and actually enjoy the evening!
