Editorial: The Royal Wedding
What can we say, we love a Royal Wedding. The anticipation, the speculation, the opulence and to our delight, Megan and Harry did not disappoint.
In the lead up the the wedding, Kyha the Founder and Head Designer at KYHA predicted a look that was, classic with a modern twist. I envisage a boat neck, long sleeved gown with an open square back and a full skirt. A train is necessary and should be long and dramatic. The church is so overwhelmingly large, Meghan needs to have presence and a train will provide a great entrance!
The train wasnt quite as dramatic as we had hoped but the beautifully handed embroidered veil was the perfect addition to her look. The veil added just the right amount of drama.
Recreate Meghans dramatic veil moment with our Sheath Veil.
I love Meghans style, I feel that she is modern and sophisticated yet still feminine. Her style reflects her personality confident, innovative and intelligent. -Kyha Founder and Creative Director of KYHA
Our favourite moment of the day however was Meghans reception dress. The high neck gown made from silk crepe was everything. This was the modern Meghan we were waiting to see. A sleek design by fellow designer, Stella McCartney, we loved this chic reception look, hair, makeup and all.
If I had the opportunity to dress her, says Kyha, Head Designer of KYHA, having already broken many traditions it would be great to see her step away from the full skirt and wear something dramatic yet still slimline. A fitted gown with a flared skirt. Something along the lines of our Sadie gown would suit her perfectly. I also love that Sadie is off the shoulder and flatters the dcolletage area yet is still conservative and modern.
